Alison walked along the lower deck which was reserved for the second class passengers. It was filled with average people, some of which looked a little green from being on the sea for what was probably their first time. She smiled a little. She pulled out her camera which instead of being digital, since they didn't take the best pictures, was an old fashion camera. The kind who's film had to be developed in a dark room. She began snapping pictures of the people and their families. She also took a few pictures of a couple that looked to be newly weds. She soon was completely absorbed in her picture taking.

Blake didn't know why he was down in the second class area. He wanted to meet as many people as possible, however sweet or strange they were. He descended the steps, feeling completely fine. It wasn't his first time down on a ship or anything.
He walked amoung the people for a few moments and greeted a couple with a warm smile.

She was looking around to find something else to take pictures of, when she saw a man who walked down here and was talking to people like he owned the place. He had great posture, and walked with grace and what seemed to her a little arrogance. He was greeting people left and right with warm smiles. He looked like a prince meeting his subjects. She started snapping pictures of him. She quickly ran out of film and began to reload the camera. She was a little upset because this process took about a minute and she didn't want him to have been lost in the crowd by the time she looked up.

Blake saw a couple flashes in the corner of his eye, but didn't pay much heed to them. Probably someone just taking pictures of their first family outing. He walked over to the edge and leaned on the railing.
The water crashed and made noise beneath hem and he stared into it.

In her haste to change the film, she messed up. The film got exposed to light. "Crap." She muttered to herself. When she looked up she found it didn't matter, the man wasn't in the crowd anymore. She sighed. Oh well. She stepped through the crowd of people who were probably all out here just because it was the first day of travel. She leaned against the railing and looked over the edge staring at the water which was so deep it looked black. She shuddered. She hated black water. You could never see what was in it. Her camera hung around her neck as she sat leaning over the railing to watch the water splash almost playfully against the side of the boat.

Blake noticed a girl standing beside him, leaning on the rail. He said in a pleasant tone,
"I'm Blake."
He put out his hand for her to shake. She didn't look green as many of the other girls had looked.

Alison looked up to see who was talking to her, and was quite startled to see the man she had been taking pictures of. Slightly embarrassed, she replied softly, "I'm Alison." She took his outstretched hand and shook it. "It's nice to meet you." She added, with the polite manners she had become accustomed too.

"I could say the same." smiled Blake. His politeness matched hers, if exceeding it a little bit.
OOC; Brain freeze.

She looked back over the rail at the water below. Fish were swimming frantically away from the ship as waves of water splashed up in all directions. Even if it was black, it was still a breathtaking sight. "It's so beautiful." She said, almost to herself. She looked up at Blake, "You ever been on a ship before?" She asked him.
