Blake lay on a couch which had been brought up to deck, sprawled across it lazily, a book in his hands which he had been attempting to read. He pushed his hair out of his eyes which had been bothering him for the longest time. It seemed to be the 30th time!
He sighed. Hopeless. So he sat and watched the kids play along deck. A more...violent form of tag than he had played when he was a child.
Yet, it was fun to see the children having so much fun. Something he hadn't had in a while. Well, tis life.

Isa sighed as she wandered the decks. Nothing interesting had happened on this ship so far. Well, nothing except Drago managing to loose his sunglasses overboard. Smiling at the memory Isa made her way up to the middle decks, the common ground. She hadn't yet come up here. Looking around she smiled at the children playing. At that age they didn't really know the difference between classes. Why did they have classes in this day and age anyways? its just segregation all over again. Then she spotted someone laying on a couch.
She rolled her eyes as she passed him, thinking 'Must be a first class guy. Lounging like that.' She walked over to the rail. Like she couldn't do that on the second class deck. But still, it was higher up here, you could get a better veiw, right? A small smile appeared on her face as she leaned on the rail.

Blake noticed the young woman pass him and roll his eyes. He had an urge to roll them right back at her, but restrained himself. He wasn't five years old anymore though he longed for the carefree years that had once been his.
Life on the ship was interesting to say in the least. It was full of life. Many people had been superstitious, it being almost like the Titanic. He didn't really care. Not much. He didn't get seasick like others so it was a pleasant experiance.
He couldn't help but feel intrigued. She obviously viewed him with disdain.

Still looking over the edge for a moment longer, Isa couldn't help but smile at the sounds of children playing. It was a great idea to have the common deck. Although, it wasn't like those of first class would normally really want to stand on common ground. But then again, maybe they weren't all that way. She took a quick glance over her shoulder at the boy on the couch. He seemed to be first class and down here willingly.
Turning her attention back to the water she gave a content sigh. This ship was going to be quite interesting, if anything. Even though it was the common deck Isa still couldn't believe that a first class passenger had come down here. Their deck was so much nicer than here. Oh well, she wouldn't trouble herself with it. Turning around she put her elbows on the railing and watched the children play.

Blake's curiousty was getting the best of him and he walked over the young lady. He leaned back beside her and said quietly, "You view me with disdain. Can I ask what I did to deserve it?" he smiled. "I'm Blake."
He also watched the children. They were so happy and carefree and--a child was crying. She had slipped on the deck floor and fallen. Forgetting he was talking to Isabella for a moment he walked forward and squated down beside her saying in a friendly voice,
"Where does it hurt?" the little girl looked at him with big round eyes. He had a fact that you couldn't help but trust and she pointed at her knee. He nodded and looked at it, just a littl scrape, a little bleeding. "Lets get you a bandaid alright?"
The little girls mother rushed forward and took her from Blake as if he would hurt her. She seemed amazed that someone from First Class was talking to her. He politely inquired to their family and invited them to dine with him that night. He enjoyed making new aquaintances regardless of their backgrounds. She nodded mutely and he smiled.
He walked back to Isabella and said, "Sorry about that." and waited for her answer.

Isa blinked. A first class passenger was talking to her? Couldn't be. No way. However, before she could reply, the boy, Blake, had run off...to help a hurt child? Judging by the child's appearance her family wasn't of the first class either. She blinked again. Maybe there was some first class people who actually cared about other things rather than just themselves and money. She couldn't help but smile as she watched Blake help the child, then speak to her mother.
As he came back over she gave a nod. "That was kind of you, to help that girl I mean," She said, looking at the children again. She completely ignored his previous question, before he had left to help the child, and said simply. "The name is Isabella." Even though is was so short, and she added nothing else to her statement, Isa's voice was still kind. Still though, she didn't move her eye's to meet with his.

"Thank you. I try, I really do. Fight against the prejudices held against me. If that made sense let me know. Because I'm not making sense to myself."
He leaned against the rail, knowing that choppy water was below. He was a strong swimmer, but he was slightly worried about the waves. Not for himself. For everyone else, children especially were oblivious to it.
"Nice to meet you Isabella. You seem slightly afraid of me. Am I that imposing?"
He looked at her, waiting for her reaction. He hated that people thought of him as a cold heartless bastard that lived in riches.

Isa laughed. "Your making perfect sense to me. Fighting the fact that your right while over half of this ship is not. Its as simple as that. And show that you arn't some selfish pig as well." She put on a slight smirk. "How does that sound for the steriotypical richie?" She turned around and looked at the waters below again. However, that was short lived.
As Blake spoke once again Isa turned to look at him, now leaning on the rail with her one elbow, her other arm hanging beside her body. "Afraid of you? Why would I be afraid of you?" She laughed slightly. "Now that sounds like a typical richie to me. You think people are afraid of you, people arn't. They think that people like you are just too involved with your money they don't even want to bother you. Now, somehow I doubt you are really like that, but judging by that last statement of yours, I could see you actually being a snobish rich kid."

"First of all, I'm not a kid. I'm 20. If anything I'd be a snobish rich adult." he smiled before saying, "And thank you for clearing up my sterotypical behavior. I don't believe you're afraid of me, but you would not look at me in the eye. Either you're extremely shy, don't like me or afraid. After your reply, I'm inclined to believe you don't like me."
He paused, "Or is that snobby of me? To assume things?" he was staring over the deck, "I enjoy being away from the stuffiness of first class. All the talk about stocks and investments." he grimaced, "Its a horror. Have you ever had to sit through a boring lecture and long to leave?"

"Age has no effect on weather or not your a kid. You may be an adult by age, but actions are childish. Besides, what fun is being an adult when being a kid is more fun?" Isa shook her head "I'm none of the above. I've just had bad expeiriences with richies in the past that has left a mark." Isa moved to look out at the ocean again.
A small smile appeared on her face as Blake asked if it was snobbish of him to say. "Assuming things usually leads no where." She paused and listened to his statement about the talk in the first class. "All talk about money and nothing entertaining. Yes, I have had to sit through boring lectures, but probably not the same ones you have gone through." Isa shrugged and turned her head to look at Blake "Care to share of the absolute boringness?" Her voice was full of curiosity. Sure, Isa had never really wished to have alot of money, but she was curious of what it was like.

Blake nodded and said, "Just to get it out of my head. Sure." He made a suddenly serious face and said in a deep voice, "The stocks are down Jerry." "Well, we conducted a survey and..."
He rambled on for a few moments and then said cheerfully, "And where am I? I'm at the far end of the table, sleeping. Until they ask me a question and I'm so used to it and so extremely talented I can answer the question without knowing it." he laughed and said, "They think I'm simple minded so they ask the same question."

Isa laughed and looked at Blake as he was talking in a deep voice with a serious face. She continued to laugh as he said they thought that he was simple minded. "Ohh, apparently I get it a little easier than that. I just get my parents going "Isabella, you need to slow down and conserve our money, or get a job,"" She rolled her eyes. "Your lucky, you don't have to work to get money so you can do something. I've had a job since I was like, ten. But it sucks they think your simple minded. My twin gets that all the time, but frankly, he is simple minded."

Blake laughed and said, "I don't need to get a job as I am very well of financially, but I'm a lawyer. I graduated from Harvard Law early." he smiled, like a proud little child. "I'm very proud of myself as you probably no doubt noticed. People often classify it as arrogance."
He paused and laughed at her comment about her brother, "Not a nice thing to say.."

"Exactly. You don't need a job. The only thing a job for you is really good for is passing the time." She said with a sigh. "And yes, i have noticed. So you gradded in what, two years? Unless you skipped highschool too." Isa raised an eyebrow, her last comment half questioning, half stating.
Isa smirked slightly. "But it is oh so true. If you met him you would understand. I'm surpirised he actually passed grade one, better yet graduated with me." She laughed "He talks like cave man," Isa said, impersonating his voice.

Blake leaned against the rail and smiled at her comment about her brother. "I see."
He thought to himself before answering, "In High schoo..I skipped a grade or two." he laughed, "I was one of those scary child geniuses. It daunts people. Strange yet amazingly true."
He knew that people felt like they needed to do better around him but he didn't push it. He liked people being themselves and most of all, being honest.
